Germany, France, Spain, Portugal. Boat to Portsmouth. And finally to the forecourt of St Thomas’ Hospital, where those who still remember him will be waiting. You can tell me some stories Steve but please, keep it selective. If he makes it Steve will have traced a line left, right, up and down the globe. 6 continents, 50 countries, and 50,000 miles. 4 and a half years.

The author Robert Louis Stevenson once wrote: I travel not to go anywhere, but to go. I travel for travel’s sake. The great affair is to move. If this romantic assertion is truth, then Steve is about to embark on one of the greatest affairs it is possible to imagine. And raise bundles of cash for an exceptional cause.
